Northbeach and Chinatown

On my usual Sunday early morning walk-arounds in Northbeach and Chinatown I often pass by the John J. Delucchi Sheet Metal Works on Powell Street.   Established in 1921, it's painted metallic exterior glistens in the morning sun.

This menu looks like a mystery to me, and I'm pretty sure whatever I ordered I would end up with pot-luck.

Maybe with enough finger pointing I could get a little bit of this tasty looking dish.

Ah yes, Columbus Avenue -- my gateway to the City.   Plenty of free parking on Sunday if I arrive early -- when the shadows are still long.   Yawn...

Nice texture and magnificent play of light and shadows. A nice composition. Greetings

Love the last image. The toning and shadows make for a very interesting glimpse of Columbus Ave.

I think it's really hard to capture and show metallic paint. On my monitor it just looks like a weird shade of white. I do like that last shot of Columbus Ave. with the long shadows and texture and lines.

Yep, I like that last shot very much. Gee, I wish I could get out of bed earlier in the morning.
