Oh, I know I've already "did" Montbretia (or) Crocosmia a few days ago, but I thought this golden background was so beautiful that I had to show it.

I moved the camera just slightly, and in so doing it revealed more of a blueish background. Which do you like better?

Ripples crossing -- water can form some rather interesting graphic patterns.

Trees and branches that fall into the creek are welcomed by newly hatched Coho Salmon and Steelhead Trout. This woody debris is similar to an ocean reef, giving the young fish a shady and protected place to hide.

Thanks Don for your understanding, no! its not easy at all, loosing my dearest most faithfull little DOGfriend, however my dog wasn't thát little her weight was 33 kilo's, . she was too light for her own specie, which is : a Swiss Bernese mountain dog, normally thier weight is 45kilo's. I also like the way you take pictures of the water, It's really cool :)
Its hard to decide which I like better. the gold gives it a great warm effect but the cool color makes it pop. Both are really good. I guess it depends on what you want to emphasize.

Heading up to Dutch Flat in the Sierra foothills today for D.I.L.'s Dad's 90th birthday. The family has rented the old Dutch Flat Hotel for the weekend reunion and celebration. Hope I can take some good pictures besides the family snapshots.
LOVE that last image - that blue is wonderful.
