"expression" in San Francisco

This is the "poet" who does all her work on masking tape. Often there is more than one layer of tape if a correction or major revision has been made. CLICK for another, but older example. Another, and another.
A few months ago she had claimed the sidewalk across from CityLights Bookstore for her literary efforts, but now you'll find her works scattered around Northbeach, here and there. Most of her messages are not this harsh, although she's got some rather nasty stuff to say about the Republican candidate for Governor.

Painted shortly after 9-11, these stripes and religious sentiment have gone through numerous unauthorized alterations. Personally, I think the intended message is just a bit overly specific. I may be reading more into this than I should, but the original message seems to give the impression that there is only one God and he is on "our" side... Respectfully, I beg to differ.

When the bold plans for the Transamerica Pyramid were revealed a huge squabble developed. Nobody quite knew how the building would fit in -- some were worried that San Francisco's skyline would be wrecked forever.
