So there I was, out at China Camp trying to make SOMETHING out of a pretty much NOTHING sunrise when I noticed how big the sun got on my viewing screen when I threw the lens out of focus.

Sort of a near-and-far theme going on here, I think.
Caution: To avoid being blinded never look directly into the sun,
and don't blame ME if you try this technique and wreck your camera.

It was early but these birds weren't wasting a second. With such apparent determination they must have had a plan, perhaps the bird in the lead had a detailed map in it's little noggin.
