The four towers of Embarcadero Center remind me of four United Nation buildings set side-to-side over a span of four blocks. For some reason it isn't regarded as a tourist destination, but if you've never walked along their bases, you've been missing a treat.
You can walk from elevated courtyard to courtyard without ever having to come down to street level. All walkways, patios, and verandas in the area are paved with this interesting brickwork pattern.
Each one has a fabulous and different art-feature in it's courtyard:

The walkway is so interesting.
The Holocaust Memorial looks as if it might be as sobering (or almost) as going to Dachau or a similar camp.
Some great patterns here. I like the one from the shrimp factory best.
The first one makes "world go around".
I like that you zoomed and cropped the Holocaust memorial.
