I've used Photoshop's "SmartBlur" filter with these first two images.
That cleaned them up a bit and gives them a somewhat plastic look.
The SmartBlur filter works by retaining edge sharpness while selectively blurring the interior of shapes.

As the sign attests, this Chinese bakery has been here a while.

Northbeach fits with Chinatown nicely, like a hand and glove.
This steep Northbeach street is named Romolo -- just around the corner from the Hungry I.

With streets like that, it's a good thing y'all don't have to worry about ice.

Have a great 2011!

(lol, Marvin! Indeed!)

Wow, that's pretty steep!!
I do love that Coca Cola sign, but there is another one you might like on Grant between California and Jackson (I know that's 4 blocks but that's as specific as I can get). It's not far from the Banksy graffiti, possibly at that angle actually.
