that "homey" feeling

That's the San Rafael to Richmond Bridge in the foreground.   The Oakland to San Francisco Bridge -- what we call the "Bay Bridge" -- is beyond...

Oh, I think both bridges have official names, but nobody ever uses them...   And hey, no problem if you reverse the names -- Oakland to S.F. Bridge with S.F. to Oakland Bridge -- everybody is going to know what you're talking about...

It's rather pleasurable to experience that "cozy" and "homey" feeling while walking through the San Francisco neighborhoods...   This is a quiet street in Noe Valley.

Great contrast in those two; you can have it either way in that neighborhood - a riotous garden or a cool elegant exterior. Both nice!

I'm not surprised you shot that in Noe Valley. Part of the fun of going to Noe Valley is taking the J Church up there, to 24th. Then you walk back down, but not straight down of course!
