All that color - what a great tonic for those of us still waiting for things to bloom!

Delightful first day of Spring flowers. I love the bright colors. Go to my son's blog mr mapper link on my sidebar. He has some nice spring flowers too.

The blog gods must have had their way with my comment earlier... I was struggling to post it, lol.

Anyhoo, it went something like this:

I am stunned by the bokeh of #2. It's hawt. #1 is downright gorgeous with the purple contrast. And even though the last one is that noxious Oxalis, I love the pic and I love the bright cheery nature of the flower. I called it buttercup as a kid.

HEY RED --
We used to call that either "Sour Grass" or "Dog Grass" when I was a kid...

We used to chew the stems for their juicy sourness, but then dogs used to pee on it -- so the rumors went -- so a lot of kids called it Dog Grass...

I haven't tasted it in a very long time, but don't want to taste anything that a dog has pee'd on...

AND THANKS DEBORAH, AND T.F., AND PHOTOWANNASUE --
Thanks for the input, as always.

These look like summer to me. The orange ones remind me of African daisies. All so, so pretty! There is just such an abundance!
