Of course Fall colors out here in the West are nothing like what they have in New England, but we DO get a bit of a colorful display, nevertheless...
As for Photoshopping, I went extra heavy on "sharpening", but hopefully I didn't over-do it...

I don't think you over did it. You created a Monet-esque shot. i like it.
I like the effect and I love the colors. I miss the Fall colors they have back East but I'm not complaining about our landscape out West, the Fog, the better temperature, etc. A nice trade, I think :)
