streaming sunlight at Big Sur

Well, I ended up at Big Sur on Thursday.   The sky was just slightly hazy, but otherwise it was a picture perfect day to explore and get reacquainted with the central coast of California.

I had a fine time, and if I had wanted to I could have actually stopped in Big Sur for a Thanksgiving buffet, although I didn't.   I guess I was too busy looking for photos...

If these trees could talk! I wonder how old they are? They're beautiful, and you got a nice effect with the light coming through.

Thanksgiving was quiet here, too. A few people from the neighborhood accidentally ended up meeting at the neighborhood's coffee shop (the only thing open) and spent a good part of day arguing over coffee over things like universal health care and some other similar stuff... I know it may not sound like it, but it was actually kind of fun! :)

PS. The wild turkeys I shot the other day (with a camera!!!) were nowhere to be found in the neighborhood that day.

This photo makes me say ahhh....
So many days camping in those beautiful redwoods. Good and happy memories.
Great capture of the rays in the trees.

So beautiful! I love the light.

It's been many years since I've been in forest like this.

Great photo.

Photos and the quest for photos are better than food.
