moody skies and wild rides

It's June, it's snowing in the Sierra, and out here on the west-coast we seem to be caught in a cycle of winter storms that just won't go away.

Even though it's never been proven that he said it, Samuel Clemens (of Mark Twain fame) is widely attributed to having said; "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

On a dark gray day even the normally delightful Angel Island seems like it could be harboring deep and dark secrets.
