We've had some moody skies recently. I even saw, but was unable to get good shots of rainbows. You should be able to faintly make-out the silhouette of Mount Tamalpais in the right lower portion of the photo. "Mt. Tam" is the centerpiece of Marin County and she is adored by all.

And this is the sun a bit lower in the sky. It sinks rapidly these days, but now the days are beginning to lengthen. Don't forget to say your prayers...

That second photo is really lovely! (Like the first one, too but I love how you can see the sun covered by clouds in the second one.)
Stunning "moody" photos Don. These are definitely keepers.

I'm with Tangobaby on the second one. I dearly wish I'd taken it (which is actually the highest praise I can bestow upon an image). Wonderful!
Both awesome Don, but especially like the moodiness and dark mystery of the 2nd with the setting sun.
