Hope everybody is having a great Sky Watch Friday !

It's about a quarter-to-five out here on the west coast -- the sun won't be up for a while...   Perfect time to check a few blogs...

I shot this particularly red sunrise a week or two ago on the western shores of San Pablo Bay, just north of San Francisco.

With a sunrise that colour, I'd be worried about the weather for the day. Stunning.

The sunrise is almost as incredible a capture as those fighter jets and the Golden Gate ... I am so envious of your sky!

Vivid, wonderful colors and composition. The reflected sunrise is beautiful.
Glad the weather cooperated so you could see the Blue Angels. They are so amazing.

Beautiful! I have to be honest, it's hard to look at the sunset with that GG Bridge picture on top, though. Great shot of the Blue Angels!!!

(PS. Apparently the GG Bridge Board of Supervisors just approved the construction of a net to prevent suicides, so the Bridge is going to look just a little bit different now.)

What a beautiful picture!! It's so vibrant.

Thanks to for posting a cute comment on my blog about my Tuxedo cat Franklin. He's a fun kitty. He was a stray that would sit in the back lot of where I work.
