Dark and misty...

And just a bit later, the promise of sun.

An intrepid fisherman, searching just like me for the prize.

Elephant Mountain in the distance. From the other side they call it Black Mountain.

Tiny specks of birds in the distance. A new day makes them enthusiastic. They don't read newspapers or listen to the news. Pray for peace...

Love morning breaking thru the foggy mist.
The fisherman is my favorite. Great story telling shot.

Yeah, like the fisherman shot. Photo contest worthy.

Thanks, STINE, PHOTOWANNABE SUE, AND SINBAD'S DAD A.K.A. JOHN -- You know I've got an exceptionally good focus on that fisherman. I was looking at it yesterday blown up as large as I could get it and I could clearly see every feature and wrinkle on his face. I'm using the second generation Canon 70-200 "L" f2.8 I.S. II zoom, which I had to go out and rob a bank to be able to afford, but it definitely is an improvement over it's predecessor, the first generation of that lens. Glad to finally get a "person" in one of my photos--that's something I need to work on.

I love foggy morning shots like these. I was just talking to a friend today wondering if there would be a chance for some fog or mist tomorrow. I doubt it. I'll have to console myself with these of yours.

You are really lucky to be able to experience this fog and take some gorgeous shots. :)
