I don't think you're going to find a Jack-In-The-Box on Broadway Street anytime soon, but that hasn't stopped the most brilliant corporate advertising minds at Ralston-Purina from planting seeds.

"Language of the Birds"   2008,   Brian Goggin with Dorka Keehn.
Polycarbonate, stainless steel, LED lighting, microtop.

"Historically "The Language of the Birds" is considered a divine language birds use to communicate with the initiated. Here a flock of books takes off from the plaza to fly the urban gullies of the City. The fluttering pages have left a gentle imprint of words beneath them. These serendipitously configured bits of local literature reveal layers of human culture, nature and consciousness."

Pull up a chair -- there is plenty of room.
How about a drink while we're waiting?

It's a while till supper and dinner, but that's no reason why we can't THINK about it.

Something with lots of garlic would be good -- this is the world famous Stinking Rose Restaurant, just up on Columbus from Broadway.   You really don't need directions -- you can smell the place two blocks away.

When I see cloth napkins folded up to make a pointed peak or stuffed into a wine glass I think higher prices on the menu and start looking for the restaurant with the stainless steel paper napkin dispensers.
