Maybe I can explain it this way: Personally, I would rather view the beginning flames of a day, rather than lament on the darkening coals of a sunset.

Hi SINBAD'S DAD (JOHN) -- What I need to do is go back to grade school and learn English. I have such a difficult time with grammar--"are and is" ALWAYS throws me for a loop. And thank god for spellcheckers--throughout my life I've always relied on the possibility that my spelling errors would go undetected, but that probably isn't so. Anyway, John, I always enjoy reading your prose. Must go see on your blog what you've been up to recently.
