It's one of those rituals that shop owners welcome to keep prosperity flowing and the evil spirits at bay.   The dragon pokes his head into businesses, firecrackers pop off outside, drums pound and cymbals clang -- and to tell you the truth I haven't been able to hear since Sunday.

LET'S CELEBRATE
Make sure your sound isn't turned way up, then
mouse-over keys.   Click to repeat three times.
Drag keys to the right to form combinations.

I'm impressed with the shot of the firecrackers exploding. I'd be late on the trigger.

Love your humor Don. I'll bet the "celebrate" would drive anyone nuts in a short time.
Great shots and it looks like the weather cooperated for once. When we used to go, so many times it was either raining or so foggy we couldn't see much of anything.
