Nature can serve up some splendid colors...

And man tries his best, but generally falls slightly short.

But your pictures don't fall short. Once again, enjoyed all of them.

I disagree, man's colors are every bit as wonderful.

Thank you.

Maybe you shouldn't take sure good pictures of what man does. I would normally whole-heartedly agree, but this one of man's is incredible.

Great art Don, manmade or nature.

HI SI -- I always know it's going to be a good day when you stop by and leave a comment...   I am not actually worthy of all your praise, but I guess now I will do my best to live up to it...

AND HI RHETT -- Well, yes and no...   But I might be a bit jaded because I used to work as a paintmaker (Versatex Textile Paint) -- the colors got pretty boring except the days when I would make magenta or the fluorescents...

AND THANK YOU, LOUISE -- Well, it's pretty darned simple -- all I do is try to frame things up, snap the shutter, and hope for the best...   Actually this is my second attempt with this painted detail and I need to go back some day and shoot it with the camera on the tripod so I can stop the lens down so I can get everything in focus -- the left side isn't...   Third try should be a charm...

AND HI PHOTOWANNABE SUE -- Looks like you just snuck in while I was writing the other replies -- all this praise is going to go straight to my head but I know that there are SO many other photographers out there SO much better than me...

Nice one. Where is the rainbow door?

HI MINDY -- The door is located on Stockton, just to the south of Çolumbus on what is sort of the east side of the street.   I have a full shot of the whole doorway, but need to re-shoot it someday.
