I'll be back in 10 days -- Re-runs in my absence

I'm off on vacation, exploring the mid-California coast, eastern California, the Alabama Hills, Bristlecone Pine, Death Valley, and as far into Nevada as I dare venture, but I'll be back October 1 hopefully with a lot of new photos from my adventure.

Sooooooooo, I have scheduled 30 "automatic" posts for the 30 days of September. Didn't want you to forget about the blog while I was gone.

We've had a lot of fog and a lot of completely blank and blue skies, but on Friday it looked like there might be some possibility of a colorful sunset.

Jets had been tracing through the skies all afternoon, and I think some of the cloud activity was initiated by their exhausts.
