Whoopie !   -   it's Sky Watch Friday !

It seems we haven't had a cloud in the sky for weeks around here, and I didn't know if I would have anything for today or not...   These drifted over yesterday...

For a bit more interest I gave these clouds the Smart-Blur treatment in Photoshop.

Very effective treatment. No clouds for weeks? That's because they're all over here LOL

On the boat: I can feel the wood and the heat of the sun on the wood.

Very nice effect on the clouds! I sometimes get a similar effect when I forget that my camera is set to manual focus and point up rather than down. Your boat header is also a great picture! The difference in color between the sunny and shady sides is very nice. Thanks for visiting my SWF. There are many astronomy web sites with amazing photos, but APOD does a nice job of providing variety.

We're the same way lately - When IKE came over, it was cloudy and rainy for days, then all of a sudden, it's sunny with no clouds every day! I shouldn't complain because I know what is to come! BUT, makes it difficult to get good sky shots :)

Thanks for visiting. I'll sign you up for Acapulco - just a measly 2 grand please LOL

I totally would have "bought" that the sky looked like that on its own. I was going to comment on what an amazing cloud pattern it was. But it IS! You just made it more interesting!

Gorgeous! And I love the boat on your header. Reminds me of an old boat I once photographed in Tomales Bay when I lived out in the Bay Area.

Hi Photoaday, Great sky and cloud. Thanks too for the lesson in making it look like an oil painting.

So, you treat clouds ! Is it really ecological : )
With or without treatment, I find them fantastic. I know why chrome
3D love them, I thought I was in his blog. And it's a compliment!
