China Camp, with a grand sweep across San Pablo Bay provides a splendid viewing spot for sunrise hunters.   This is the upper thumb of San Francisco Bay.

I shot this photo a few months ago, but this is my hero; Frank Quan, the lone remaining resident of China Camp.   Why is he my hero?   Because he's an old bachelor just like me.   Eat your hearts out, ladies -- we two fellows got away...
