San Francisco Bay

It's common for our sun to struggle a bit with low clouds over San Francisco Bay.

Usually, morning clouds give way to afternoon clearing.   The fog coming-in and burning-off is a process that is (usually) repeated day-after-day, all Summer long.   Visitors are advised to bring warm jackets.

Mark Twain once wrote; "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

At about eight in the morning you won't find many pedestrians on the Golden Gate Bridge -- except for that guy with the camera...

Well, the sun's struggle is the photographers gain! Wonderful shots!!

The fog and sun certainly give interest and character to that guy with the camera. Mark Twain hit the nail right on the head.
Great shots and prose Don.

Say what you will about the fog (I know tourists just don't appreciate it the way locals do ;) but without it, it'd be so hot, we'd be wanting to jump in the water all the time! Hard to do with a camera, too. ;)

Your photo proves that I am right when I say that California, and especially San Francisco is a great place to visit. I've been there once and I surely want to go back again.
