fountain, Sausalito

This large fountain dominates the triangular park, Viña del Mar, located in the center of Sausalito.   Sausalito is a cool little bayside community on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge;  rich with artists, writers, old beatniks and hippies, celebrities, and tourists.

Sausalito is known for it's counter-culture houseboat communities -- the most famous being Gate Five -- down the road a bit.

Perhaps you like your fountain less busy and less sooty-and-chalky -- perhaps a bit more Renaissanceful...

The only fountain we have is the one at Rayfield's Drug Store down to Cape Charles where Bobette cooks the bestest cheese steak samiches you ever et.

More great pictures.

Tried walking around framing pictures. My court date is next week.
