I hope I'm not the only person who remembers the needle and groove system that we used to call the "record player".

At the time it was all very scientific, and I suppose there might be some science going on right here in the creek.   I listened carefully, but didn't hear any unusual sounds -- just the usual splashing and gurgling.

I love your water images, from the Pacific waves to Lagunitas Creek. These are fantastic! Nature is playing a symphony for the eyes. I still have turntable and occasionally listen to an old LP. All of my old favorites have made it to CD, much less iTunes and many times the rerecorded music is not as good as the familiar oldies.
