I'll have more tomorrow, but these are from a little trip I took out through west Marin County a few days ago. I always seem to end up at this place -- I hesitate to call it a town -- named Two Rock.
Two Rock is an old farming and ranching community. Information on exactly which two rocks Two Rock was named after seems to be nonexistent.

Corrugated metal. Must be one of the greatest inventions of all time!

Sales must have died a long time ago in Two Rock.

I should have tried asking these two noble creatures where those two famed rocks of Two Rock were, but I'm a little rusty on the language of Moo.
UPDATE: Curiosity got the best of me so I decided to see if Wikipedia had anything on Two Rock -- and this is what I found:
A hill named Dos Piedros (Spanish for "two rocks", 157 feet (48 m) above sea level) overlooks the community from the north.

Well I learned something new. Never heard of Two Rock or Dos Piedros before. Love the pics. though.
Rusty corregated tin...the best photo opp.
What a place for devine pictures.
Can you tell I like them?
My cow subjects are never that cooperative. How do you get them to pose so nicely? Looks like an old couple posing for a wedding anniversary shot!
HI PHOTOWANNABE SUE -- I don't blame you for not being familiar with that area -- just think of all that farmland and hills "west of Petaluma" -- I'm sure you know where Petaluma is. Two Rock is one of those places that if you blink you'll miss it.
AND HI CHRIS -- Yeah these two were very cooperative and mellow creatures, indeed. Couldn't have been a nicer morning out there...
I love Two Rock and your photos make me want to drive through again. We drive through on the way to Camp Meeker sometimes. The two-toned roof and the two cows, all wonderful. Thanks for this.
