Way out west and a little bit north is Cheleno Valley Road -- it's the same road that took me to Two Rock on yesterday's edition.

The hills have had a good dose of rain this year, but they are right at the point of turning from green to gold.

Gotta make hay while the sun shines, so I've heard. The hawk is probably looking for breakfast.

And cows grazing.

OH BY THE WAY:   The number of visitors to this blog yesterday absolutely WENT THROUGH THE ROOF!

725 people stopped by, which is about four times normal. And I have no idea of who was so kind as to give me the link -- I really do appreciate this newfound popularity. But if someone can let me know who is sending you new folks over, please let me know -- I'm really curious (((and absolutely delighted))).

And if you're new to this blog, WELCOME ABOARD, lets do some exploring.

update 6/16/10:   Well, I never did find out where all the extra visitors were coming from, and the numbers are back to just about normal, so if you are one of my "regulars", thanks!

Congrats on your surge of new visitors :)

Question: How do you know how many people visit your blog unless they comment?

Congrats on your new found popularity. People are finally getting wise to how great an artist you are.
That's amazing considering how few comments get written to you each posting. I don't know why people don't at least say hello.

HI EMMY, MULLEH, AND PHOTOWANNABE SUE --

And Emmy, I have a free stat counter on my page -- it's a ways down in the left sidebar. It only counts unique visitors -- if someone visits twice or more they are only recorded once.

A few weeks ago I had a big spike in visitors -- it went up to 400 for a few days and then died back to about normal at 150 to 200 per day. Never did find out where those folks were being linked from. Hope I find out this time.
