Sunny California has been showing it's moody side recently.   Good bye, Sun...

But this has allowed branches to take advantage of their most artful forms...

And even the grasses have been getting in on the act...

The moody grasses are perfect. It would make a great notecard. Love the black and white.

The grasses get my vote for Most Moody too. Great shot!

HI JOANNE -- Thanks as always -- you are so kind... I wish I could visit Holland some day, but the value of the Dollar is so weak that I'll probably never be able to... --I've always wanted to check out your "coffeehouses" (if you know what I mean)... (I keep wanting to revisit my Hippie days, but I probably shouldn't)

AND HI PHOTOWANNABE SUE -- Really interesting to me that people seem to like those grasses in the third shot... That was such an easy photo to take by the side of a trail at China Camp... I took a bunch and had a difficult time choosing the best to show here... I always find it interesting to see what the camera sees -- sometimes it's not the same as what I see...

AND HI MARVIN -- Yep, I think that shot would be right up your alley... Of course, had you taken it it would have a moth or butterfly perched... HEY EVERYBODY -- If you don't know Marvin and his lovely wife, Jo, you should check out his blog -- it's listed in my sidebar under Marvin's Ozark Homestead... This guy usually shoots and writes about bugs...
