I started my adventure with an arty glance across the rippled surface of the lake behind Alpine Dam on my beloved Mount Tamalpais.

After one more huge reservoir and dam (Kent and Peters) the mighty Lagunitas Creek will resume its journey; past some of my favorite ripple photo spots, eventually spilling into Tomales Bay and out into the Pacific.
