I showed the horizontal version of this photo on the header yesterday, but I think this vertical of the same subject might be a bit more  d r a m a t i c .

And speaking of  d r a m a t i c . . .   Mantovani and Yani were standing by.

And the sun, of course, calls the shots.
For my camera, when it dips into the sea the party is pretty much over.

I agree, the vertical's better. Love all the sky shots. Where exactly is Point Bonita?

HI PHTOWANNABE SUE AND HI ELONORA...

And Elnora, Point Bonita is very close to the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area "GGNRA" -- it encompasses a large area, with lots of hiking, surfing, cold-war missile exploring, old bunker spooking, lighthouse visiting, hawk watching, and a variety of other activities (((like photography))) too numerous to mention.

There is a beach for nudists (((I am not so brave))), and a beach for surfers and the rest of us... Rodeo Beach is a fine beach -- it has a million different moods...

And last but not least, be sure to check out my "Point Bonita" set of photos in my Waterscapes section of my "big" site... That'll probably show you more ofwhat Point Bonita is all about!
