new and old sunrises

Well, you know, the other day I had to stop and wonder when it was that I went from publishing one photo a day (((as in AphotoAday))), to showing you four or five new photos each day --but I guess it was at a point in time when I thought that if I had enough photos to show, then I would show as many as I could (((short of boring both you and myself to death))).

So, today, I only have one new photo -- the one above.   Orange, isn't it?

This isn't a new shot, but it's probably my favorite of all my sunrises.   It was taken out at the Loch Lomond Harbor spit, not far from the China Camp area.   This is one of four of my photos that were accepted for hanging in last year's Marin County Fair.   It won no prize and didn't sell.

This photo was taken in the same spot as the others, but it's a slightly different take on the scene.

And this pre-sunrise shot was taken just south of Sausalito looking towards Angel Island.   The shot is probably a bit overexposed -- the actual scene was probably a bit darker.

I really like the last one. It has your signature poster look. Colors are perfect to my way of thinking. Awesome full moon too.
