I Love those boxes I wish I had just one! Great shots, Don! I also lovve your pretty header, very pretty.. I like the eyes of the girl its a painting Right? Or is it a photo by painting Photo-shots?

Hi Joann,
Well, all you have to do is to get yourself a houseboat and tow it over to Galilee Harbor in Sausalito, and the artist in charge of the mailbox project will paint your box... I shot all of the boxes, about 30 of them, but these two were the best...
While down there I discovered that an old friend of mine from 30 years ago lives there -- she has an "art car", with all sorts of junk stuck all over it... Don't know if she would remember me or not after all these years, but she teaches and seems to be a successful artist -- and she has an artistically painted mailbox -- so what else could a person want?
Anyway, thanks for checking in, Joann -- I'll be showing a lot more of my photos from the museums in San Francisco... --I had a slight accident with my zoom lens...
And yes, the header changes every day and becomes the top photo of the new posting the next day (if that makes any sense)... Sort of a teaser for the viewer to return the next day...
