Well, we'll move on to cheerier thoughts tomorrow, but please indulge me for one more day of gloom.
On my foggy golf-course walk-around and slightly exhausting adventure to "Land's End", I passed through the Holocaust Memorial -- sculptures near the Legion of Honor done in 1989 by George Segal.
My apologies if I have "romanticized" the sculptures in these photos, but I saw a great deal of beauty in the forms, despite the horror of the situation. Incongruous.

Stunning and heart tugging.
An amazing remembrance.
Thanks for sharing it.
Beauty in the horror.
