steamy photos

Usually I don't plan my shots but I've been wanting to shoot this scene for a while now -- I think I caught it at a rather dramatic moment.
This is my beloved Lagunitas Creek, about a quarter mile below the confluence of Devil's Creek. And right now the mighty Lagunitas is a full-fledged river -- normally it is just a bucolic bubbling creek. In fact, it has so much water rushing by that it isn't quite as photogenic as it usually is.

A reflection in Nicasio Reservoir. These waters will eventually join the mighty Lagunitas. This is where I spotted River Otters in December.

And what we have here is something designed by Frank Lloyd Wright -- it's the spire (also used as a boiler vent) at Marin Civic Center.

You have got some amazing pictures here today. I love them.
Have a nice day Donald.
Greetings,
Berit.
I don't blame you for wanting to capture this scene. Its beautiful. I really liked it as your large banner yesterday. There is something so magical about the wispiness of fog.
For some reason today's shots made me feel all misty . . . bedop bop. Seriously though, nice shots.
The steamy shots are really cool, today, especially the first one! looks like I missed a nice banner, probably another "wow" moment .
