Sunday afternoon panic started to envelope me -- almost like in the way fog can envelope a forest. I realized that I was running out of photos to show on this humble blog.

Oh, I wish the type of photography I do didn't require so much driving -- I've managed to put almost 90,000 miles on that Prius in the past three years -- but I got in the car and headed out again, this time towards the Sky Trail at Point Reyes. I had a hunch I could find some foggy trees.

And yes, I found my foggy trees, and some snaggy and gnarly ones as well.

Not that I am any expert on fog -- not by a long shot -- but I did grow up with the stuff in the little town with the most pleasant name of Pacific Grove.
The fog-horn out on Point Pinos sometimes blew night and day [[[insert your own sound effects here]]] to warn fishing boats away from the treacherous rocks.

So, as I was heading home I noticed that a rather pleasant sunset -- a part not obscured by fog -- was developing. From my vantage point on Olema Hill I snagged this snap. Pretty, isn't it?

These are really breathtaking, and thoughtful. Nice work.
THANKS, NATASHA -- I had a great time on the Sky Trail shooting them...
These are totally gnarly!
