hey -- what's shaking in San Francisco?

Of course I tilted the camera for this shot, but it wasn't much of a joke back in 1989 when many homes and businesses were tilted just as badly.

Not to make light of the situation, but if you know Tai-Chi you can rock-and-roll to all-the-shaking-going-on out here in San Francisco...

I showed a shadow photo the other day and people remarked that they liked it so I thought I would try my hand at it again.   I'm not too sure about this attempt -- maybe I just need to crop it a bit more.

The sidewalk on Columbus Avenue seems to be at just the right angle this time of year for snapping long-legged San Franciscans on their way to breakfast or whatever.

This fellow was having a loud conversation with a secret companion so I sort of stayed out of his way and took the photo on the sly.   He was dressed rather colorfully for his sour mood and the alley itself had a lot of color, so I decided to show the photo here as a black and white.

I like the two B&W people/urban pictures. This it seems is not what is usually seen in your subject matter. Ever consider doing more of it? I think you would excell. Sorry for the Okay on the banner shot. The sky reminded me of the smog drenched sky of LA I left so long ago.

This is a really nice series here. I like every one, and I think you were right to do the guy in the street in B&W.
