There is so much passion and drama in the sculpture. I'm always amazed that someone can carve so much detail into a hunk of stone.
I'm mythology challenged too. Much too long ago since college.
Have no idea who the figure is, but it makes me a little uncomfortable to look at it, what with all the angst. Beautiful pictures :)
