Salt Point

Not too many people know that Salt Point, about 90 miles north of San Francisco on Highway 1, has an outstanding display of eroding sandstone...   You can find this same type of eroding sandstone at Point Lobos, about 200 miles to the south, but Salt Point definitely puts on more of a show for shutterbugs, artists, and nature lovers...

Awesome slideshow Don. The sandstone is fascinating. Many years ago I took pictures of the stone at Point Lobos. Its just one photo opp. after another.
