Pope Valley Hubcap Ranch
click photo for full-size image
photos by Donald Kinney
Over a period of 30 years, Emanuelle "Litto" Damonte (1892 - 1985) with the help of his neighbors, collected more than 2,000 hubcaps... A fence stretching a quarter of a mile is covered with a wild assortment of old hubcaps... Spread around Hubcap Ranch are constructions and arrangements of hubcaps, bottles and pulltops which proclaim that "Litto, The Pope Valley Hubcap King", was here...

Loving the hubcaps...I would have so much fun shooting those as well! :) Very nice.
Love these Don. I think I would have gone totally crazy taking all the caps. I also like your self portrait too.
I agree, this would be fun to wander around and shoot. I love offbeat stuff like this.
