Every year during our heaviest rains, a torrent of water surges down the Lagunitas Creek, re-arranging the creekbed and washing-out vegetation... But every year the area makes a remarkable recovery and everything green returns -- from sword ferns, to bamboo shoots, to stinging nettles... Newly hatched Coho Salmon and Steelhead Trout warm themselves in the shallows... Life at the creek goes on...
