I feel SO sorry for all of you poor souls who don't have beaches-and-breakers in your backyard. That action on top of the wave is called "spindrift". Pretty, isn't it?

My ears always perk-up when I hear warnings on the news of dangerous waves on the coast. Hell, danger is my middle name. I'll try my best to stay safe, but send no flowers. Donations to your favorite charity. It's been nice knowing you.

As close as I live to the coast and I hardly make use of such a resource. Shame on me. Have me flogged if you will. How do you get your reports on good upcoming wave action out there?
Hi ZOOMIE -- Thanks. I like that shot too. Won't be doing another book for a while, but definitely plan to do another sort of book in the same style with the spiral binding and heavy paper. Mainly it will be a way for me to keep track of my own photos--and "on demand" printing, which is capable of handling the production of just one book. It is all done with a new type of printing press called "Indigo". So, what I plan to do, even though I won't be promoting these heavily, is to do a "Donald Kinney Quaterly" with 25 or 30 images if I can manage to come up with that many of decent quality. Again, just a way for me to keep track of my own photos, but I guess it will provide me with some incentive to keep producing, just as the blog (and FB) does now.
and Hi SINBAD'S DAD (JOHN) -- Yes lets get out the whips... Gosh, Sonoma County has an incredible coastline as you know. I especially like the area just south of Carmet, and of course, Coleman Valley is a real experience, again--as I'm sure you already know.
