Where do you find this magical water that grows upside-down trees? :P
Lovely pictures, so beautiful. And a perfect way to start my morning, I must say! :)
THANKS MULLEH AND THANKS EMMY...
And I usually find this colorful water on Marin County's (((just north of San Francisco))) Lagunitas Creek, which starts on our beloved Mount Tamalpais and flows to the sea at Tomales Bay.
However, that vertical shot of the upside-down tree was taken at one of my more secret and hard to get to spots on a tributary of the Lagunitas, just downstream from Nicasio reservoir.
The secret for these reflection shots is to have the water in shade with a bit of surrounding vegetation illuminated. Sometimes it's quite a light show...
Another vote for Extra Special "water that grows upside-down trees" !!!
The reflection is amazing . . and the entire composition even more so . . . It has everything !! :>)
(energy of moving water, solidity of the rocks, dreamy reflection of the vegetation, and even a bit of the blue sky to balance it perfectly:>)
Thanks for bringing these treats to us each day . . I live in Marin also and you continue to remind me of all the beauty and uniqueness of nature and life in general.
WELL THANKS, FRANCES -- I really appreciated your comment -- and being a fellow Marin resident I'm sure you also enjoy how beautiful this area is.
You make water look like paint. Lovely!
