Wild is about the only word that adequately describes the weather we've been having this year. I can't recall more rain over such an extended period. Animals are beginning to form pairs.

And with the rain; before, middle, and end; comes clouds. That's our beloved Mount Tamalpais trying on a few wispy things for size.

Fog bank sweeping down over Sausalito, an upscale town on the northern side of the Golden Gate Bridge. This is a common sight. We love our fog, especially during hot summer months -- it provides natural air-conditioning for Bay Area residents.

Wow this is dramatic!
have you seen my dramatic series of pictures? the latest one? Take a look! just scroll down to the first couple of pictures! it's pretty dramatic :)
HI MULLEH,
Cool shot of the double rainbow.
And yeah, the sky can change quickly.
I find that I get most of my good shots early in the morning or late in the afternoon -- the middle of the day is not much good for anything else except maybe snoozing with a cat.
Love those incredible skies and the fog bank in the last photo makes for a great image. Enjoyed your photos tremendously. Never knew that about fog being a natural air-conditioner but it makes a lot of sense now I think about it.
Beautiful! :)
THANKS TO ALL --
And sorry, but I had to turn "word verification" back on (((some Chinese guy was spamming something you wouldn't want to look at)))
Best regards, Don and Kitty
Love the fog bank rolling over Sausalito. It sure makes for pretty pictures but sorry...I don't miss the everyday-ness of it one bit.
I'll just keep enjoying yours. (:0)
