We've had an EXPLOSION this year of Douglas Iris -- they range from white and pale, to blue and purplish.

The Iris photos were taken in the Rock Springs area of our beloved Mount Tamalpais, and here it is -- Rock Springs, the headwaters of Cataract Creek, which will subsequently flow into Alpine Dam and join with the Lagunitas Creek on it's way to the Pacific Ocean by way of Tomales Bay.
