Rather than howl at the moon, I like to look at the reflective surface of water and let it rip...

Reflections can be moody as in the previous photo, or they can be bright and rich. Or mottled, here, like textured stained glass.

Splotchy and colorful water.
Busy, and accomplishing ponderous things.

Or still water.
Waiting perhaps to reflect the image of an Indian maiden.

I spent an hour or two shooting at the Lagunitas Creek with Don. I am so glad that he was willing to share this location with me. I have always marveled at his water ripple work. In fact, it's the reason that I contacted him many years ago.
Oh, BTW .... I looked at today's blog from my office. For some reason, I accidentally hit the "keyboard" as I was scrolling. That LOUD "Yahoo" soundbyte resonated down the hallway. Isn't life fun
... the guy from Ohio
They're so pretty! The first one almost looks like a Monet painting. Gorgeous.
Love your banner of the day :D cant wait to see the pictures for tomorrow! :D
And these pictures were so nice !Beautiful!
THANK YOU READING RACHEL, AND THANK YOU MULLEH,
AND THANKS JAN BELL FROM OHIO -- and yeah, sorry to disturb the peace with the silly sound keyboard...
I'll probably remove it in a few days -- or I could replace it with any of a dozen others -- I've got some good ones like Monte Python phrases, guns, bells, and the like...
But yeah, maybe it doesn't belong here, or maybe it does... Kitty and I will sort it out later...
But continuing my thought --
I think everybody should try to drive their co-workers BONKERS today with the sound effects...
(((Kitty just looks at me like I'm an idiot)))
Spectacular!
Don and water features: one and the same. Monets all the way.
different... just different...
