This is a great time of year at Point Bonita. Spring and the Montbretia have sprung.

I've been scouting locations for my buddy in Ohio to shoot when he arrives in a few months -- he expressed a particular interest in finding Calla Lilies on this trip -- I may be able to find a few for him at Rodeo Beach.

Daffodils in the foreground -- that's a pretty easy call, but now I'm wondering if anyone can still tell -- with the fuzziness -- that those are Calla Lilies in the background. Ooops, I probably should have stopped my lens down for a bit more depth-of-field. Maybe I had better get back out to Rodeo Beach and try it again.

I see the your photos of spring flowers in bloom. Spring comes earlier than I imagined in California. We don't see any hint of green until late in April here in Ohio. So it appears that I'll miss spring by arriving so late. The calla lilies will have been burned by the heat of the sun :(
LOVE the photo of the window with the GG bridge in the background.
"OH HI" JAN, (((MR. ANONYMOUS)))
Well, I bet there will still be plenty of Calla Lilies still in prime shape in late April... I keep noticing patches just ready to unroll...
And glad you liked the window at Fort Point shot -- I couldn't resist, but was having a few second thoughts about the photo... I'll have other shots of Fort Point tomorrow...
You'd better get back to work, Jan -- I think I hear your boss coming down the hall right now...
Best regards, Don and Kitty
