Point Bonita in black, white, and blue

Well folks, I hate to brag about the scenery around here but it probably doesn't get much prettier than this...   Taken looking towards the south end of Rodeo Beach with a short telephoto lens.   (((70-200 (at 200mm) "L" f-4 on full-frame (no crop factor) Canon5D.   Exposure:  f-11, 1/400sec, ISO-100, one stop (-) exposure comp.)))

That's Black Sands Beach down there, and you probably recognize part of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background with San Francisco just beyond.

And back to the Rodeo Beach area -- that's Bird Island on the right, but I'm not sure if the smaller pointed rock is named.   I think it offers a nice counter-point to the roundness of the larger mass.   The clouds sort of improvise...

Great shots Don. Yesterday was so spectacular in The City. We made our pilgramage to Fort Point and were gifted with a perfect time.
Its a great place to get some interesting photos. You should really visit some time.
