I'm guessing that a woman of great importance wore this fine Kimono.
It's on display at San Francisco's Asian Art Museum.

This is over at the DeYoung museum, where the sculptures take a little break in the middle of the day to enjoy the collections.

And those ancient Pharaohs -- oh I don't know if he was a Pharaoh or not -- I'm not up on all the terminology -- just keep hanging around.

This one, carved from wood, was standing in a basement hallway at the Legion of Honor.
