If you're 30 or 40 years younger than me, you're probably going to like the scene at the Red Devil Lounge at Polk and Clay. From the advertising on the side of the place, it presents a lot of the new and upcoming bands:

Usually there's no Elvis shortage in San Francisco... I spotted these in the last Bay to Breakers race. There was a whole flock of Elvis's that passed by but I only was able to snap two.

I sure like that gold banner photograph. Sometimes metallic colors don't come out well on photographs, but this certainly did. I like the room divider too. Very gracious. But I'm a bit beyond Elvises and liquor stores. You'd be more likely to find me in one of the parks around the Golden Gate Bridge.

BTW, Good Vibrations is not bad! It's a clean, women-friendly but not exclusively, employee-owned and pretty sucessful business. They have a bigger store on Valencia, and another one on San Pablo Ave., in Berkeley, plus the online store. Great concept if you ask me. (Yes, I went inside. I was intrigued by the frosted glass so I went in. After I was done giggling for the first couple of minutes, I became pretty impressed with the professionalism, friendliness of the place, not at all what you'd expect. nuff' said :)
