Follow your nose to the Stinking Rose, where you'll find hearty, California-Italian fare for the garlic worshipper in us all. Recipes like Garlic-Encrusted Baby Back Ribs, Savory Garlic Noodles, and even (brace yourself) Garlic Ice Cream will please die-hard garlic enthusiasts as well as those who prefer just a graceful hint of the bulb.
The original Stinking Rose, in San Francisco's Italian North Beach, has become famous for serving more than 3,000 pounds of garlic each month. The Stinking Rose also has a restaurant in Beverly Hills.

In black-and-whte or in color, garlic still stinks... Oh, maybe stinks isn't the right word -- let's go with smells-to-high-heaven.

I need to go there. Love garlic stuff. And have never been bitten by a vampire so it does work.
The expression on the guy's face tells it all. Great photo.
Posted some trial photography efforts on my site today. Would appreciate your passing by and leaving some candid criticism.
What a great idea for a restaurant, even if you have to really scrub your hair, clothes etc every time after you go there - I'll be the aroma is more clingy than french fries and onion rings!!
I never made it there, but when I worked trade shows at Moscone I could always tell when the attendees had been there for dinner the night before...Whew very strong but they had a great time.
Cool shots! I love the b/w.
I love the smell of garlic. I don't know why people find it offensive (shrug).
These shots remind me that I have a picture for you. Will post it in a few days. You'll know exactly which one it is. ;)
