Whoopie !!!   it's Sky Watch Friday again !!!

I know I might be stretching the rules a bit today --
...is this a photo of the sky, or is this more a photo of ropes ?

I found this wealth of ropes and rigging aboard the Balcutha, an iron hulled shipping vessel docked at Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco.

Nice photo! I think it's scary when I think someone has to crawl up those rope ladders.

It is an interesting photo. A little glimps into the days of tall ships.

I don't know about the rules but that is one very cool shot!!

Do you like ships? There is a very interesting ship from China right now in San Francisco until the end of October, I think.

Love the lines against the blue sky.
Think Sky Watch is what ever you want to do with it.
Great job Don.

There is more sky than rope, so it´s not stretching too far. Great texture.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I used to live in Sonoma Co. so your photos are particularly wonderful for me. The sunrise ones, the Angels rollover group photo, the China camp one: some extremely beautiful images. Thank you for posting. I'll be back!

I like your abstract painting. Starting a new trend?

Pretty cool! To bad that we don't see these old schooners so much anymore.

Sometimes a beautiful, clear sky can benefit from something in front on it. Your ropes give a lot of interesting angles!

Sailing ships always ad something to a sky picture! Nice SWF.
